Art is not concerned with reproducing what we see... rather, it makes us see.

Art is research in the sense that it is a discourse on world that we share. Art is a discourse that benefits from sensory, conceptual, imaginary and linguistic sources but it is, as an entirety, something quite different: A quality practice that not only studies significant phenomena but as well bestows significance to phenomena it makes appear.

Art is a memory of age-old things, dark things, whose fragments live on in the artist.

Art is not simply about beauty. To give emphasis only to beauty is like a mathematics that deals with positive numbers only.

Art , in its spatial manifestations, does not begin with a mood or idea but with the construction of and harmonizing of figures, colors, and tones.

Art should be like a holiday: something to give a man the opportunity to see things differently and to change his point of view.

Art is not reproductive of the visible... it makes visible.

Art 1s 2rerequisite, in all its forms, is the art of mastering life.
