Joshua (n.) was ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠a soldier, not an astronomer: he thought the sun stood still because he thought the sun moved — and nothing obliges us to think otherwise.
