A lie is more convincing if you have to pee while telling it (because of a phenomenon called the inhibitory spillover effect where inhibiting pee spills over to inhibiting the signs of lying)

Lying is physical --- when a person lies they experience an increase in temperature around the nose. This is known as the Pinocchio effect.
