The Minimum wage is not the war tha the Left likes to see it as. Rather, most business owners pay their employees as much as they can with razor-thin profit margins.

The Minimum wage is at a level that, if raised, businesses, in order to survive, will cut jobs and reduce hours (up to 500,000 for 10 dollars an hour according to the CBO).

The Minimum wage is, if raised, harmful to businesses, making them less competitive and also leading many into bankruptcy.
