The Press is a watchdog, not an attack dog, and not a lapdog. A watchdog, and as such, like a watchdog, it cannot be right all the time. Like a watchdog, it doesn't bark only when it sees or smells something that's dangerous. A good watchdog barks at things that are suspicious.
