Success (n.) can ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠end in despair: when the goal one consciously sought is finally reached, the neurotic learns it was not the true goal and never will be, and an engineer or a writer may take his own life at the summit.
