Michael Behe
Michael BeheDarwinism is problematic in that there is no publication in the scientific literature (in prestigious journals, specialty journals, or books) that describes how molecular evolution of any real, complex biochemical system either did occur or even might have occurred.
Intelligent design is a theory whose conclusion flows naturally from the data itself, and to infer that biochemical systems were designed by an intelligent agent requires no new principles of logic or science.
Intelligent design is not the opposite of evolution. Rather, it is the opposite of Darwinism, which says life evolved by an utterly unguided, undirected mechanism.
Molecular evolution is bluster and not based on scientific authority. None of the assertions made about it are supported by pertinent experiments or calculations (i.e. direct experience).
