Guilt is disembodied shame internalized shame, shame when we are alone (shame is an animal-level fear vis-a-vis another when caught in the act). Guilt is our ability to punish ourselves. And that psyic violence we inflict is what we call our 'conscience.

Race is biologically real and has tremendous social, cultural, and historical consequences. Race involves a passionate attachment to our extended family and the cultures and the civilization that it birthed.

Race is today is the 'great taboo' just as sex was for the victorians. It has become the very center of modern people's moral universe.

White guilt is the foundational morality of the day. It is a transformation of a world created and once dominated by europeans into a world that features many european shapes and forms democracy, feminism, free love, iphones but which is a world without europeans in it.
