1st Amendment is the jewel of our Constitution.

A Corporation is simply a form of organization used by human beings to achieve desired ends, thus, to protect the free-exercise rights of corporations like Hobby Lobby, Conestoga, and Mardel is to protect the religious liberty of the humans who own and control those companies.

A Judge is distinguished from the attorney in that the role of a practicing attorney is to achieve a desirable result for the client in the particular case at hand, but a judge can't have any preferred outcome in any particular case and a judge certainly doesn't have a client.

A Judge is not allowed to have any preferred outcome in any particular case. His only obligation - and it's a solemn obligation - is to the rule of law.

Settled law is more a precedent that is entitled to respect then it is a precedent that is protected.
