Koan (n.) was ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠too artificial for the Soto school: it invites the very seeking that pushes satori away, or worse, induces a fake one.
