Ahriman (n.) was ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠born, in Persian lore, from a doubting thought in Ahura-Mazda's mind.

Ahriman (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠the Persian devil, who has only the gift of hindsight, as does the causal scientific mind, which understands the psyche only retrospectively and so grasps only half of it.
