caiaphas, n.All

Caiaphas (n.) is ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌politics at its best, not its worst; nobody has been a better politician.

Caiaphas (n.) is ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌the perfect sacrificer who puts victims to death to save the living; John reminds us that every real cultural decision is sacrificial.

Caiaphas (n.) states ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌the political logic of the scapegoat: limit violence, but use it as a last resort to avoid a greater violence.
