cornerstone, n.All

Cornerstone (n.) on ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌which all culture rests is the stone the builders rejected — and Christ is that stone made visible.

The Cornerstone (n.) that ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌the builders rejected is the scapegoat: every culture rests on the victim it expelled, and once that stone is shown it can no longer serve as a hidden foundation.
