Income inequality is a red herring. Focusing on it is a moral mistake because there's no correlation between income inequality and relative rates of poverty and simply having less than others does not entitle them to other people's money.
Income inequality has nothing to do with race and everything to do with culture... namely, black culture in which black kids aren't graduating high school, where kids are shooting each other in the street, and where 13% of the population is responsible for 50% of the murder.
