The Plane of consistency is the abolition of all metaphor. All that consists is real.

A Plane of consistency calls into question all conventional forms of ordering the world into categories, allowing, for example, for a semiotic fragment to rub shoulders with a chemical interaction, an electron to crash into a language, a black hole to capture a genetic message, a crystallization to produce a passion.

The Plane of consistency is the body without organs. Pure relations of speed and slowness between particles imply movements of deterritorialization, just as pure affects imply an enterprise of desubjectificiation.

The Plane of consistency is a plane upon which nothing develops or subjectifies, but things arrive and haecceities form, forming this or that assemblage according to compositions of nonsubjectified powers or affects.
