is not real, and is based on the wild idea that if a person comes into a police station all bloodied up, the cops ask what color the perpetrator is and ignore the crime if it is a white person and if it is a black person, they round up any black person.

that I couldn't help thinking of Eric Holder our former attorney general our first black attorney general by the way he accused heights of cowardice in fact because of their refusal to speak honestly about race but as you point out his version of an honest conversation about race is for white people to salon at the feet of black people and beg forgiveness and confess our sins that's an honest conversation for him in fact I wrote [Eric Holder] a letter not long after you accused whites of being cowards and i said i don't consider myself a coward on the subject I'd be delighted to have an honest conversation with you about race he didn't deign to reply needed to say but yes the whole question of crime al Americans have an intuitive sense that black people commit more crime on the one per capita basis points this intuitive sense is absolutely rent and yet the most common explanation for the fact that blacks are more likely to be in jail is that racist white police go out and arrest them unfairly well even when you think about this the idea somehow that some blood man come staggering into a police station saying oh I've just been attacked in mugging and the police say what was the race the guy who came after you and I said it was a white guy and then are they supposed to say oh gosh well move along your men were not interested when I mr. arresting white people or if I say I was a black man then they say okay go round up the nearest available black man and will pin the murder will plan to pin the marking on him it just doesn't make sense we have a very well established procedure whereby guilt is established you have to evidence and the idea that somehow white policemen are out rounding up innocent black people in letting white people go is just ludicrous when you think about.
