Self-perception is always in error. We are never so happy, nor so unhappy, as we suppose ourselves to be.

Self-perception is able to be inferred form said person's view of humanity. What a man sees in the human race is merely himself in the deep and honest privacy of his own heart.

Self-perception is of great import. Whether one sees themselves as beautiful or not beautiful or desirable or not desirable has deep consequences in terms of one's feelings of self-worth and one's capacity to be a political agent.

Self-perception is often woefully skewed. Some people are so far behind in a race that they actually believe they're leading.
