smart power, n.All

Smart power (n.) is ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌invisible to its subjects, who do not know they are subjugated and so believe themselves free.

Smart power (n.) guides ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌the will instead of breaking it: it says yes more often than no, and meets the subject halfway.

Smart power (n.) does ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌not give orders but whispers, does not command but nudges; it exploits freedom instead of repressing it.

Smart power (n.) does ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌not impose silence but keeps asking us to confide, share and tell all about our lives.

Smart power (n.) needs ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌no resistance to overcome: it reads our conscious and unconscious thoughts and relies on our own self-optimization.
