Wage form (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠not a mere surface of capitalist production, nor is the deceptive appearance its true essence, but it is one of the essential mediating forms of capitalist relations, an essential formality those relations constantly reproduce.
