Anatman (n.) means ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠not that there is no true Self but that none can be grasped: the true Self is non-Self, since seeking it pushes it away.

Anatman (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠the Buddhist realization that life's process is not happening to any subject — so that no one is left over to be reincarnated.
