Begetting (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠the circular movement by which man reproduces himself and so always remains the subject, rather than a regress to who begot one's father's grandfather.
