The Brute fact (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠what one kind of scientist likes to lick his tongue around, as one kind of believer fondles unequivocal dogma.
