Causal explanation (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠only a description of the same event in other words: to say an organism needs food is only to say that it is food.

Causal explanation (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠insidious: it makes one say 'of course it had to happen like that', when one should say it may have happened like that, and in many other ways.
