In-itself is n hegelian dialects, that which is less developed... that which does not yet show itself. The important thing is to see the transition between things, their interconnection, and not to separate things with an impenetrable barrier.

The In-itself is that which a thing is implicitly. Development is the transition from the 'in itself' to the 'for itself' : The embryo is 'in itself' (a human being, but not yet 'for itself'). It does not yet show itself.
