The Normalizing society (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠what needs criticizing, rather than the therapeutic State: one continuous web from the bleak asylum dormitory to the profit-making couch.

Normalizing society (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠the outcome of a power centered on life; all the constitutions and codes since the Revolution were only the forms that made such a power acceptable.
