Radical alterity (n.) is ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠the otherness that does not want to be understood and never will be, however much universal charity we pour on it.
