A Sage is the instructor of a hundred ages.

A Sage is someone who has had the good luck to be forgotten in his lifetime.

The Sage is different than the philosopher in that the philosopher is a lover of wisdom. A sage is a philosopher who lives the wisdom that he/she loves.
