Yom ehad (n.) means ⁠​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌‌​​​​‌​‌​​‌‌​‌​​‌​​​​​‌‌​​‌​​​‌‌​‌‌​⁠not merely one day but, said Rabbi Samuel ben Ammi, the day God longed to be one with man.
