A Dreamer (n.) is an actor who at will plays madmen and philosophers, executioners and victims, dwarfs and giants, demons and angels.
The External world (n.) is a mental habit that cannot be put to sleep: even dreaming, we assume a world outside to set against our ego — and so take the images for real.
A Psychologist (n.) is obliged to confess even his own weaknesses if that may throw light on some obscure problem.
Waking (n.) is the only valid test of whether one was dreaming — a dream can even let us touch the rose we see; only finding ourselves undressed in bed proves it was illusion.
