sense datum, n.All

A Sense datum (n.) was ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌a new phraseology that deluded people into thinking they had discovered new entities in the structure of the world, as if 'there are sense data' were like 'matter consists of electrons'.

A Sense datum (n.) is ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌not a different kind of object from a physical tree, as a railway car differs from a station; it differs as a railway accident or a railway law differs from a train.
