Time travel is grounded in this sad fact: when people talk about traveling to the past, they worry about changing the present by doing small things, but pretty much no one in the present thinks that they can change the future by doing something small.

Time travel is not likely --- In 2009, Stephen Hawking held a reception for time travelers, but didn’t publicize it until after. This way, only those who could time travel would be able to attend. Nobody else attended.

Time travel is likely to leave us dead and floating out in space because space travel would also have to be advanced enough to keep up with the movement of Earth over time.
Time travel is incredible dangerous because of immunities that develop over time. Travelling back to the past could kill everyone, including your ancestors. Traveling to the future could lead to your own quick death.
