vibe shift, n.Trivia

Sean ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Monahan, the forecaster behind it, warned that during a vibe shift "some people don't survive" — meaning they fail to adapt.

The ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌phrase went viral through Allison P. Davis's February 2022 article in The Cut, "A Vibe Shift Is Coming. Will Any of Us Survive It?"

Monahan's ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌trend group K-HOLE is the outfit whose 2013 report 'Youth Mode' launched the word 'normcore'.
