Science (n.) is a worldview that proceeds with a lifeless brutality, manipulating things and giving up living in them. Objective thought treats everything as an object, an object for use.
Science (n.) is, as scientific views, always naive and hypocritical because they take for granted consciousness, through which first a world forms itself round me and begins to exist for me.
Science (n.) is in no way the only way of understanding the world.
Science (n.) is not a primary mode of inquiry, but rather a late-comer. It begins at a point where consciousness is taken for granted.
Science's (n.) whole universe is constructed upon an unthematized, uncategorized lived world. Our task should be to describe this experience of the world of which science is but one of its expressions.
