Insight (n.) into ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌a false problem cannot be handed over; if the sufferer is to be helped at all, he must be tricked into it.

Insight (n.) is ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌what comes when the ego is dispelled — not an invasion from the swamp but a new pattern of relationships, like a scientific or artistic discovery.

Insight (n.) comes ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌when thought stops from exhaustion and the mind sees the problem as it is, not as it has been put into words.

Insight (n.) stays ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌where ecstasy fades: once you have understood a skill, the knack tends to remain.

Insight (n.) needs ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌no schooling, any more than perspective drawing does: it only has to be pointed out, and then depth is not understood but seen.
