Time (n.) is, along with space and causality, only a metaphor of knowledge, with which we explain things to ourselves.
Time (n.) is an interpretation whereas becoming is a fact. Every moment the tree is something new. Things in time are not static, but an ever-changing, endless process (and thus eternally periodical).
Time (n.) is cyclical, non-linear, bent round in to a circle.
Time (n.) is endless but space is not. Thus there is a ceaseless flux in endless time in finite space so you can only have a certain number of possible combinations of aggregates and therefore, these will recur.
Time (n.) is made up of moments which arise and perish such that the next moment can arise. Moments do not end in time, as it were, because they allow other moments to arise.
Time (n.) is not a subjective form... it is a real and infinite process which can only be conceived as 'periodic'. On the principle of the conservation of energy the quantity of energy in the universe is constant. The world is a closed off unity in which there can be no dissipation of energy, thus it must recur.
Time (n.) flies forward and we would be foolish to believe that everything flies forward with it.
Time (n.) may be only a cloud that keeps our eyes from seeing how many things belong together — Kant with the Eleatics, Schopenhauer with Empedocles, Wagner with Aeschylus.
Time (n.) itself is a circle, says the dwarf: all that is straight lies, all truth is crooked.
